In this lesson there are 4 materials from the quiz that have been given, from the 4 materials I found points that I think are important. This time we will discuss about indirect statements, business associations, and discourse markers.
The first is an indirect sentence. In indirect sentences, the writer takes other people's ideas, then assembles them with their own sentences. This means that the author did not write exactly the same as the original quoted sentence. The author compiles and summarizes based on articles or other sources. The quoter only takes the main idea from the source cited to be restated with a sentence composed by the quoter.
A. Sentences quoting the idea are written in double space as normal text.
B. All quotations must be saved. Reference sources can be written before or before sentences containing quotes.
C. If written before the citation text, the last name as listed in the bibliography goes into the text, followed by the year of publication between brackets.
D. written before the text of the quotation, the reference is written between brackets, starting with the last name as listed in the bibliography, a colon, and ending with the year of publication.
The second is about business negotiations. Before that we must know what is negotiation? Negotiation is one way of resolving disputes that has been around for a long time and is widely used by various parties in resolving disputes between them. Negotiation is the main and most important thing in business to carry out development plans with business partners. Business negotiations are different from other types of negotiations. In a business negotiation, each party involved tries to find a win-win solution.
